Axol Human iPSC-Derived Dopaminergic Neuron Progenitor Kit consists of cryopreserved, pre-differentiated Dopaminergic Neuron Progenitors together with optimized cell culture medium that promotes maturation and maintenance of dopaminergic neurons. This kit permits the generation of mature dopaminergic neurons within 12 days after thawing. The cell population generated will consist of: >80% TUJ1+ neurons, >30% tyrosine hydroxylase (TH)+ dopaminergic neurons and <5% GFAP+ astrocytes. The dopaminergic neurons can be maintained for up to 40 days in our Dopaminergic Neuron Maintenance Medium. It is recommended that the Dopaminergic Neuron Progenitors are matured for up to 5 weeks in order to obtain electrically active dopaminergic neurons.
